CESI Middle East oversees the operations of CESI across the Gulf region—a geography traditionally shaped by the oil and gas industry but now undergoing a profound energy transformation. The region is witnessing an unprecedented acceleration in the deployment of renewable energy projects, driven by national strategies. These ambitious goals are coupled with rapid growth in electricity demand, necessitating the expansion and modernization of resilient and sustainable power infrastructure.

In this dynamic context, CESI Middle East has been a long-standing partner to key stakeholders in the region, including government entities, transmission and distribution utilities, electricity regulators, global investors, independent power producers (IPPs), and EPC contractors. Our contributions span a broad portfolio of strategic and technically complex projects that have helped shape the evolution of the energy sector in the Gulf, supporting the shift towards cleaner, smarter, and more secure energy systems.

Our commercial footprint includes fully operational local entities in the United Arab Emirates (Dubai and Abu Dhabi), the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Riyadh), and the Sultanate of Oman (Muscat). In addition, we maintain strong local representation in other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries—such as Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain—alongside a robust network of trusted partners and subcontractors that enhances our ability to deliver tailored, on-the-ground solutions.

Since the establishment of CESI Middle East in 2012, we have successfully executed over 100 projects across the region. These range from grid integration of renewables and interconnection studies to power system planning, asset digitalization, regulatory advisory, and testing of critical power infrastructure components.
